Given the recent news involving Islamist terrorism and also statements regarding a 15 -20 year war on terror I feel astounded at the widening gap that seems to be opening between our politicians and media and the rest of the population - there seems to be so many no go areas when it comes to discussing the real issues and the truth!
Do Muslims hide behind the veil to commit crimes , travel incognito and compromise our laws and other social and civil frameworks - yes
Our borders are taken advantage of by those that would seek to take with one hand and destroy with the other yet strangely the issue of immigration remains low on the policy list of all main parties , the Uk borders are porous and controls are insufficiant
Has our recent foreign policy made matters worse - come on of course it has , we are as guilty as anyone and drawing up battle lines in the sand. Tony Blair has much to answer for and yet he scuttles away to a job as peace envoy! Oh the irony
we have bridges to build but in the mean time mealy mouthed PC rhetoric pampers to terrorists and those that would destroy the hand that feeds them lets start telling it how it is ,and for all of those out there that would destroy our infidel lifestyle , then dont come here for your NHS baby and take from the wlefare state and live in the free flats - there is no NHS or income support under the Taliban - you cant even fly a kite!
What mess - bush and blair should hang their heads in shame - especially blair who should have known better - bush is just dumb.
